  3. It helps to reduce the risk of cancer, helps prevent spinal bifida and anemia and may ease nervous insomnia.
  4. The fresher the salad, the better.
  5. When the cut surfaces are exposed to air, it diminishes the crispness as well as the nutritional quality of the lettuce.
  6. Always remember to wash the lettuce thoroughly before consuming .
